BARBARA A. BRANDES, MD Dr. Brandes joined Wake Forest Pediatric Associates, PLLC in January 2007. Prior to moving to Raleigh she worked in a private practice in Southbury, Connecticut. Dr. Brandes attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and did her pediatric internship and residency at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. She is a board certified Pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Brandes lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and two children.

KIMBERLY J. DAVIS, MD Dr. Davis was born in Lake Forest, Illinois, the youngest of seven children. Her family moved to California when she was ten; where she grew up in California's agricultural heartland, the Central Valley. In 1991, Dr. Davis relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina where she currently resides with her husband and two children.
Dr. Davis is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 1986, she received her undergraduate degree at Sonoma State University in Santa Rosa, California and in 1991 she received her Doctorate of Medicine at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She successfully completed her Pediatric residency training in 1994 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Prior to establishing Wake Forest Pediatric Associates, PLLC, Dr. Davis worked for Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Dr. Davis' hobbies include hiking, camping and running.

PETER S. ERCOLINO, MD Dr. Ercolino joined Wake Forest Pediatric Associates, PLLC in August 2001. He is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Ercolino received his undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Medicine at the State University of New York in Buffalo. He successfully completed his Pediatric residency training in 2000 at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Prior to joining Wake Forest Pediatric Associates, PLLC, Dr. Ercolino worked with the Pediatric Teaching Service at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. He also worked with Carolina Neonatology at the Neonatal Intensive Care at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Dr. Ercolino lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and three children.

ANITHA JAIN-RODRIGUEZ, MD Dr. Jain joined Wake Forest Pediatric Associates, PLLC in August 2010 after completing Pediatric Residency at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Dr. Jain is a Board Certified Pediatrician. She and her husband are originally from Gainesville, FL. Dr. Jain attended college at the University of Florida receiving her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and her Doctorate of Medicine. Go Gators! Dr. Jain lives in Durham with her husband and new puppy. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, crafts, traveling, and being outdoors.

NAOMI D. WEINSTEIN, MD Dr. Weinstein was born in East Meadow, New York. Her family moved to Buffalo when she was four years-old. She grew up with long winters and lots of snow. She enjoyed skiing, ice skating and sledding.
Dr. Weinstein is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Psychology and her Doctorate of Medicine at the State University of New York in Buffalo. Dr. Weinstein successfully completed Pediatric residency training in 1999 at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Prior to establishing Wake Forest Pediatric Associates, PLLC, Dr. Weinstein worked for Rex Healthcare at Wake Forest Pediatrics of Rex Healthcare.
Dr. Weinstein lives in North Raleigh with her spouse and two children.

KRISTI E. WOODS, MD Dr. Kristi is a native of North Carolina, having spent most of her childhood in Pembroke until leaving there to attend college.
Dr. Kristi completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University (Go Blue Devils!) with dual majors in Biology and French. She is a Board Certified Pediatrician, having attended the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2001. She is also a graduate of the Leadership College of the North Carolina Medical Society Foundation.
Prior to joining Wake Forest Pediatrics Dr. Kristi worked at Growing Child Pediatrics. She enjoys all aspects of pediatric care.
In her spare time, she enjoys crafts, especially quilting. She also enjoys Tae Kwon Do and anything related to electronic gadgets. She lives in Raleigh with her husband and children.

C. RICHARD “RICK” EDWARDS, PA-C Rick joins Wake Forest Pediatric Associates, PLLC after relocating to the triangle area with his two children. He is a graduate of the Duke University Physician Assistant program and is nationally certified. He comes to the group from a private pediatrics practice in Lumberton where he has practiced for the past 8 years.
Rick is originally from Huntsville, Alabama where he attended high school and college. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 1983 from the University of Alabama at Huntsville and continued his career in laboratory medicine after graduation. In 1991, he completed the Health Services Administrator Development program at UAB and spent several years in healthcare management. In 1997, he embarked on his lifelong dream of practicing medicine when he enrolled in the Duke University Physician Assistant program, where he graduated in 1999 with a Master’s degree.
Rick is a self-professed “geek” and enjoys all things electronic and computer-related. He is also an aircraft enthusiast and hopes to attain his pilot’s license soon. Like his wife, Rick is an avid Duke fan and is always looking forward to basketball season.

LUANN RICHARDSON, RN, PNP-C LuAnn is a true native, born in Raleigh at Rex Hospital the 4th of 5 children. She has resided in the Triangle area most of her life, except for the few years away in College Park, Maryland and Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She lives in Raleigh with her husband of 30+ years and enjoys having their two, now adult children, a granddaughter, and many family members nearby.
LuAnn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1975 from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and worked for 20 years a pediatric nurse in a variety of settings, including hospitals (WakeMed and UNC), private practices and research projects. In 1992, she returned to school at the University of North Carolina and completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing, with certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 1995. Since then she has worked with Wake Human Services, a private practice in Norfolk, Virginia, and most recently with stepping Stones Pediatrics. She loves pediatrics and especially is interested in the areas of chronic illness, children’s perceptions of illness, infectious disease and health care education.
Away from work, she loves playing tennis, kayaking and canoeing, arts and crafts, playing cello, and anything outdoors! And, of course, coming from a family of 5 kids who are Carolina alumni, and a niece and a daughter presently attending, she is a Carolina Blue Tar Heel fan!

MELODY RODGMAN, RN, PNP Melody joined Wake Forest Pediatric Associates November 2008. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. Melody received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing in 1977 from Florida International University. She has worked for 26 years as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in a variety of settings including Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and extensive work in the Public Health Sector. Melody had had the privilege of working at Wake County Human Services, Kaiser Permanente, Duke University Medical Center, NC Memorial Hospital and Winston-Salem Healthcare. Melody resides in Durham, North Carolina with her spouse and three children. She is very excited to be joining Wake Forest Pediatric Associates and getting to know the Wake Forest Community of families.
